FTP Access
If you want to upload, download, or edit your server files directly, you can use FTP access. This guide shows you how to create an FTP account on your VeryGames control panel, connect with an FTP client, and manage your {{Product.name}} files.
Create an FTP Account
To create an FTP account, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your VeryGames control panel.
- Locate your server and click the FTP button at the top of the server panel.
- Click Add User.
- Enter the following information:
- Username
- Password
- Access Path (the directory the user will be able to access)
- Click Create to save the FTP account.
Install an FTP Client
Once your FTP account has been created, download and install an FTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP.
Connect to Your Server
To connect:
- Open FileZilla or WinSCP.
- Enter the FTP credentials you created:
- Host: Your server's FTP hostname (available in the VeryGames panel)
- Username: Your FTP username
- Password: Your FTP password
- Port: 21 (or the port displayed in your panel)
- Click Connect.
Manage Your Files
You can now browse your server files, upload or download content, edit configuration files, and manage mods or plugins directly through your FTP client.
